Tippecanoe Memory Gardens (TMG) is located in West Lafayette, Indiana and was established in 1954. The founder of TMG was Mr. Larry Homer who was a civil engineer. In 1967, Mr. Homer sold the cemetery to Mr. Bill Wilhoit. His son Bruce, who has been affiliated with the cemetery since 1967, is now the President.

The cemetery includes 52 acres of property and performs approximately 360 burials per year. It has developed, over the years, into one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the northern part of Indiana. It's well maintained grounds has always been appreciated by the families we serve.

TMG built the Lafayette area's first mausoleum in 1968 and included the cemetery's first chapel. There were several additions to that building before the second mausoleum, the Chapel of Faith, was constructed. The 17 gardens each feature statuary that represents the theme of the garden. TMG was a total memorial park, using all flat granite memorials, up until late 2002. At that time they opened a new section, named the Garden of Hope, which now offers monuments and bronze memorials. The monument option has been well received by existing property owners as well as new ones.

The feature in the Garden of Hope was developed in partnership with the Lafayette Chapter of the Compassionate Friends, which is a support group for parents who have lost a child through death. The feature is a bronze statue named the Angel of Hope that was first introduced in the book The Christmas Box written by Richard Paul Evans. The feature is surrounded by memorial bricks that include up to three lines of inscription. Memorial Benches, Memorial Trees and hardy perennials have been a beautiful addition to the landscape of this garden.
